It’s been a minute… a lot has changed and I have changed. I’m a Momma. What a wonderful, hard, messy and funny life I have. She was born June 22nd 2020. Yup, smack dab in the middle of the pandemic. Here’s some photos to dazzle with cuteness.
Spirit of Philadelphia Wedding
Photographing weddings is so hard to do, but I had a wonderful time working the Hardaway Wedding. Congrats to them! Such an intimate wedding with delightful summer Philadelphia backdrop.

WORLDWIDE PHOTOWALK PHILLY
Root Finding...
I'm so excited to see the new season of Henry Lewis Gates jr. Finding Your Roots program. This has to be one of my favorite shows to watch. The connection of celebrity ancestry tied with historical events is addicting. Makes me what to go root finding. Check it out on PBS.org for local listings.
Natural Hair EXPO
I'm not much for fashion or style, but last week I went to the Naturally Redefined Hair Expo right here in Delaware. I had a wonderful time exploring all the vendors, workshops and panels. I think it's great that women of color are redefining the standard of Black beauty. It can be exhausting keeping straight long Brazilian Remi tracks, but everyone knows that it's only temporary and keeping that up is expensive. I'm a firm believer that we are designed in our most perfect image. I was really inspired by the pride all of the women had about there hair. Definitely worth trying this natural thing out.
Learning to code with Codecademy.com
I've always had a interest in learning code. I took a couple of HTML classes and got great feedback from friends and co-workers on small web projects, but I never really grasped the full understanding of web and design and how important code can be to process different projects. I mentioned to my Mother that I wanted to improve my knowledge and learn a new aspect of design. That's when I found Codecademy. This really easy to use coding tool is awesome and the best part is that it's FREE. I was really intrigued by how basic the lessons are and how they grow the complexity of each lesson, Which builds up to creating actual webpages. If your into this kind of thing I suggest you take some courses. I'm currently working on the Html & Css course. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted on my progress.

My ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Yes, I accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge. I thought it would be a good way to give family and friends a good laugh. Though ALS is no laughing matter, this is ingenious idea to raise awareness. If you want to learn more about ALS or how to donate visit www.alsa.org.
Who I challenged: My Brother Shorell Jones, Crystal & Omar Reed and Kate Johnson
Okay, now I have to go dry off... Boy that was cold.
A Philly Engagement
A couple of weeks ago I was asked to photograh a friend of a friends engagement. My intention was to do a couple of backyard shots in Delaware. But after talking with the couple and friends, we decided to take the shoot to philly. It was Absolutely the best idea. The lighting was perfect, with the street lights hitting the Broad Street pavement and City Hall as the backdrop. We were right in the middle of it all.
It was such a pleasure to photograph This beautiful couple.

Why I love Selfies
I live for selfies. It's one of my favorite ways to past the time. While others play Pet Rescue Saga, I'm busy perfecting my "smile with your eyes" technique, thanks Tyra. Some may say it's vain others say it's a way to express yourself. I think it's a confidence booster. After all, the word selfie has to parallel the word self-esteem.
Taking selfies are easy. Gone are the days of taking a photo with your digital camera, uploading it, editing it in Adobe Photoshop and then sharing for all to see. What? we all do it. I edit my photos.
Now, with the power of smart phones. We can take a photo, edit it and upload it seamlessly to Social Media. Some social media apps even have editing software lumped right in, so sprucing up that already beautiful selfie is a breeze.
Here are some of my favorite iPhone apps for editing selfie's
Instagram: They've really stepped their game up, With all types of adjustments. Saturation, contrast and warmth are a must so to give yourself some life and color, but breath easy... if it gets too complicated, they still have our favorite auto adjustments.
Lo-Fi all day!
Facebook: Has some really cool auto adjustments, but you can't tweak them as much. Hopefully Facebook with eventually adopt some of the same editing tools as Instagram in the near future.
Adobe Photoshop Express: My favorite and most extensive photo editing tools I really love the healing tool for blemishes.
